This rod is a Beaver Meadow Small Stream fly rod for fishing short, slim, small rivers and streams for wild fish. The rod is a pack rod at about 19 inches when packed down. It is a medium slow action rod and works great for casting short and long. A couple of my buddies were using these on our last trip to Labrador Canada and everyone loved them and caught fish as big as 6 pounds on them.
